We started out recording this album (Mother Coyote) as nothing serious. Originally it was supposed to be a four-song demo, so we started at a really slow pace. I went up to the studio maybe once a week to record some guitars or something. But as it evolved, it started to become a full album.
I began to push to get things moving faster but, a lot of problems started to come along: Like getting the drums recorded and getting the right drummer, getting the right keyboard player, someone to mix and master and someone to make the album cover. Everything took almost two years, and it was a real hassle, but now I feel very proud, and it turned out to be a great album!!

Though It does come in different types (genres) and affects each individual differently, it’s essence never changed. Despite its cultural enrichment, we always acknowledge its ability to speak to our emotions. I had learned to love music in general (Writing, Singing, and Listening) from creche and since have known its soothing and healing powers. I know you haven’t forgotten how your mother sang you to a total calmness from horrid cry and slowly serenade you to sleep. If you have, well I haven’t, I experienced such beautiful time uncountable times, and I bet you, it was the beginning to what you now see today.
Genu is an art and a philosophy. It is at its very core a story, spanning lifetimes of love and tragedy. Reincarnation and renewal are its biggest themes. With subtle social and religious contexts that shed light on a personal transformation through the quest of finding the self.
As a songwriter, I like to go back and study the songs that have left the biggest mark on me. When I was finishing my recent album Bad Poems For Good People, no song was stronger in my mind than The River by Bruce Springsteen.
