Your Friendly Neighborhood Electro-Witch

by Megan McDuffee

Megan McDuffee, your friendly neighborhood electro-witch

As I sit down to write this, I have several topics swirling around in my brain. I could spill my life’s story, I could educate you about music for the video game and film trailer industries, I could ramble about my frustrations and stress around having to wear too many hats, and so on. But for your sake (and mine honestly), I’ll keep it simple.

Welcome to my blog post! Thanks for being here. My name is Megan McDuffee and I’m a composer, music producer, and artist primarily for video games. I’ve built a successful client business over the past decade, and have gotten to work on some very cool things like all the Atari Recharged games, River City Girls 1 & 2 from WayForward, Apex Legends Mobile, the trailers for Annihilation and The Predator, and many more. You can even hear my songs in reality TV shows like The Bachelor and Love Is Blind. It’s been a wild journey, and there’s still so much more to tackle.

Tone poems

Tone poems by Artjom (Oudeis)

Hi, my name’s Artjom. I am from the city of Tallinn in Estonia, a country on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. I’m the guy behind electronic projects such as Oudeis, Jaded Fields (drone and ambient), and Democide (techno). As of recent, Jaded Fields and Democide are on hiatus since I’m trying to experiment with sounds, to explore, which is the basis of my Oudeis project.

The trials, tribulations and triumphs of my Winter

by Kaleb Hikele

The trials, tribulations and triumphs of my Winter by Kaleb Hikele
The years 2015 to 2017 were most probably the most crucial building block along my musical path. I’ve spent the two years struggling with a degenerative tendon disease leading to a derailing chronic wrist injury.

At first, I was misdiagnosed, and it took six months to understand why my wrists were escalating in pain. Since March 2015 I have routinely been a patient of several clinics, in and out of several hospitals, X-ray/Ultrasound/MRI scanning beds, frequented medical specialists and doctors offices around the city with minimal results.

It still affects me every day now. But I have new music released since and I’m moving on!

Words & Music

by Josue Febles

Words & Music by Josue Febles
I used to write lyrics and sing, but with the years I’ve come to find words too commanding. Lyrics tend to tell you where to go and how using music just as a vehicle to give their directions more power. As opposed to that, music without words means total freedom! Your imagination and the sensorial world find no boundaries. You are left alone face to face with all the power of Music.

What I’m Here For

by Samuel Kinsella

What I'm Here For by Samuel KinsellaI have often found that maturity is among the greatest of virtues, for it is the juvenile who often sit and wonder why they are disliked.

I told this to a friend in late 2016. He later told me it changed his outlook on life quite a bit. Beforehand, he had been involved in some… less than savory activities, trying his hardest to hold onto his own childishness, as though it would somehow protect him from the real world. He told me that he thought about what I said, and thought enough to realize that he wanted to change.

I try my hardest to live by that. However, this has not been the only obstacle I’ve been faced with in my short life.

How I Tell Stories Without Words

How I Tell Stories Without Words by AEONN

Ultimately, I am not a musician. I’m a storyteller. I just happen to be very good at using music as a medium of communication. , and that is why I have always been fascinated by film scores. Everyone loves a good story. My music is definitely a journey that I invite my audience through. And if it triggers an emotion, then I consider my job almost done. Moreover, I intend to say something that you can relate to, hopefully.

E.A.R. – Electronic Alternative Rock

by Joseph Sorensen

E.A.R. - Electronic Alternative Rock - GRMBLGRMBLI’m 25 years old, living in Central New York. I often think about taking a one-way ticket to the West Coast, specifically like Los Angeles, or Seattle. I have been working on putting out what I believe is the best I can do with what I have. I’ve recorded hundreds of songs, I have written over 790 poems. I do what I do because I love art. Music is awesome. I’m not attempting to re-invent the wheel. I don’t want to sound the same. I’m not looking to fit into standards.
