Music is a strange medium of expression. I feel a need to articulate something, but often am not sure what it is I’m trying to say, even after I’ve completed a project.

The genre employs the use of electronic musical instruments, digital instruments and circuitry-based music technology. In general, a distinction can be made between sound produced using electromechanical means (electroacoustic music), and that produced using electronics only. Electromechanical instruments include mechanical elements, such as strings, hammers, and so on, and electric elements, such as magnetic pickups, power amplifiers, and loudspeakers. Examples of electromechanical sound producing devices include the telharmonium, Hammond organ, and the electric guitar, which are typically made loud enough for performers and audiences to hear with an instrument amplifier and speaker cabinet. Pure electronic instruments do not have vibrating strings, hammers, or other sound-producing mechanisms, and are such as the theremin, synthesizer, and computer.

What I’m Here For
I have often found that maturity is among the greatest of virtues, for it is the juvenile who often sit and wonder why they are disliked.
I told this to a friend in late 2016. He later told me it changed his outlook on life quite a bit. Beforehand, he had been involved in some… less than savory activities, trying his hardest to hold onto his own childishness, as though it would somehow protect him from the real world. He told me that he thought about what I said, and thought enough to realize that he wanted to change.
I try my hardest to live by that. However, this has not been the only obstacle I’ve been faced with in my short life.

Ultimately, I am not a musician. I’m a storyteller. I just happen to be very good at using music as a medium of communication. , and that is why I have always been fascinated by film scores. Everyone loves a good story. My music is definitely a journey that I invite my audience through. And if it triggers an emotion, then I consider my job almost done. Moreover, I intend to say something that you can relate to, hopefully.

I have been working on putting out what I believe is the best I can do with what I have. I’ve recorded hundreds of songs, I have written over 790 poems. I do what I do because I love art. Music is awesome. I’m not attempting to re-invent the wheel. I don’t want to sound the same. I’m not looking to fit into standards.

Sorry men, the music year 2018 belongs to the women. At least when you look at this year’s line-up of Eurosonic Noorderslag. Probably the first festival of the year, the trendsetting happening in Groningen, Netherlands, offers a stage for more than 100 emerging bands from all over Europe. And surprisingly many artists were women.
