I talk to so many people who feel that they are powerless; that their actions do not impact society. While I can understand their feelings, I know that this is not true. I have seen so many instances of how small actions can have a major impact. As I pondered this, a series of songs emerged that offer a sense of hope and power. These songs became the CD Light One Candle.

Who Listens to Acoustic-Electric Folk-Rock? (new music)
by _Mike Birch
When asked what type of music he produces, Mike Birch tells people “electric acoustic folk rock” – a span of styles as broad as his music. From simple folky acoustic guitar songs to all-out rock and roll and piano ballads, there is something for almost every music lover.
Writing the Book on Facades: Identity, Storytelling, and Fluidity
by The Facades
So who are The Facades? It’s a good question. Even though I play all four members of the group, and they all come from and live in my head, I still have a little trouble clearly defining them. Zyote, the serious executive producer with a heart of lead and a painted smile. Aces Wild, the androgynous rock star/party angel who borrows Bowie’s vision and runs amok with it. Glitchtech, the anxiety-driven machine made man with an ear to the subway walls and an eye on the truth. The Thin Man, the pure diamond of barely-repressed spite with a literal cult following. How do I play them all, and how do they all play me?
one small stEP
by Major Moment
Joined by a Brazilian-born guitarist Gabriel de Mattia, and New Hampshire native, Adam Soucy, Andrey & Sasha (now known as Major Moment) were on the mission to create the sound that is almost extinct these days, that good old alt.rock of the early 2000s, but keeping it unique and fresh.
“Keep me in your memory, Leave out all the rest…”
by Major Moment
In addition to music, Major Moment is very active in issues including mental health, depression, and substance abuse. Our first EP “one small stEP” is dedicated to Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who took his own life due to depression.
From Russia with Rock!
by Major Moment
Major Moment is a fairly new band, but already has plenty of stories to be told. Uniting members born on four different continents, and speaking different languages, in Boston, MA in early 2017, coming from different backgrounds, the band is disrupting the steadily declining rock music scene with their heavy guitar riffs, emotional lyrics, melodic vocals, and multi-layered synth pads.
Science Fiction meets Jazz
by Max Ridley

One of my favorite things about science fiction is how a creator can project their vision of the future. However, as it is a projection, and we only have our own experience to draw from, often we color this future vision with bits and pieces from our now. Like having characters that exist 200 years from now conversing in vernacular from our time. Or having an alien race appear humanoid. One of the best examples of this is the famous “Cantina Band” from Star Wars playing “alien” music that sounds a lot like jazz.
