by Major Moment
In addition to music, Major Moment is very active in issues including mental health, depression, and substance abuse. Our first EP “one small stEP” is dedicated to Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who took his own life due to depression.

The band has also released a tribute single to Bennington, “Leave Out All The Rest,” which was acknowledged and retweeted by Chester’s sister Tobi Bennington and by members of Grey Daze, his first band. Major Moments donate all profits from the track to 320 Changes Direction. The non-profit organization, funded by Chester’s wife, Talinda, fighting mental health stigma and helping those battling with depression and substance addiction.
Members of Major Moment performed at Chester memorial events in both St. Petersburg, Russia and in Boston on July 20th, 2018. The band also played at the All Night Thing III, a charity event that raised $20,000 for Child and Family Services and NAMI of New Hampshire.
Inspired by an overwhelmingly positive reception of our tributes, we decided to take it one step further, and filmed the music video for our version of “Leave Out All The Rest.” We hope it will help to bring more attention to mental health issues, and will further spread awareness of how great of a person Chester was, and what he meant to us. We’re hoping to release this music video before the year’s end, and that fellow Linkin Park fans will appreciate our creative vision.
