Seemingly unnaturally bound to an almost comically ignorant lover the story of Tin Spurs would start unraveling itself to me like Orpheus’ melodies echoing back from a once true and vibrant love of life and those I had shared it with.

I’m a king like Will Smith, Denzel Washington and Barack Obama… Yea. I’m a future president, run and tell your momma…

You better hurry up! Get your special bundle and help Kris Angelis make her new EP “Pieces that were stolen.” Because there are only three days left, and you won’t get one of these packages afterward.
Whatever amount you donate, you will receive a digital copy of Kris’ EP before it is released. In addition, Kris has prepared ten packages in her crowdfunding, starting from $15 up to $2,500.

At this point, I’m a little freaked out because there is one week left and we’re only 43% funded, but that is my fault as I have not been posting and all the promo stuff as much as I should be.

My reason for making this album was to bring positivity into the cold world that we’re living in these days. With new music being written every day, I’m determined to keep showing the light that I have glowing inside my heart.

Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, I wrote the first song for the new EP “Fall” together with my producer Abe Hovey. It’s been a rainy day, but since we were in Abe’s shed, we didn’t notice it too much.

Our former artists of the week, Hot Flash Heat Wave from San Francisco, released their new single Glo Ride in early March. They also spent almost the full month of March on tour co-heading with No Vacation.

Zibbz, an addicting swiss sibling alliance – heavy on the synth and heart-pumping bass, courtesy of multi-instrumentalist/producer, Stee, and topped by the soulful rock’n’roll growl out of the frontwoman, Coco, will represent Switzerland in this year’s European Songcontest.

This is the last post in a series of seven about this week’s featured artist Kris Angelis from Los Angeles. Apart from her debut album and two EPs, she has released quite a few singles in the past years. They are all very different, but nonetheless, typically Kris and worth a listen.

The single Bright Side is the upbeat, “making-lemonade-out-of-lemons,” empowerment collaboration by our featured artist Kris Angelis with Adrianne Gonzalez of the band The Rescues. With this partnership, Kris proves that she is in touch with more than just the melancholy side of her sound. She aims to lift spirits with her music, too.
