MiG-29

MiG-29 is the dreamy, blood-covered, creative outlet of Prairie Flowers(Dante Reynolds). Born and raised in the San Jose Bay area in the late 90s, Flowers was blessed to be surrounded by some of the best rap music from the era. Pop-punk, hip-hop, and R&B are all styles that have made an impact on young flowers. At about 14, the flower was ready to blossom.

Flowers started learning about music production in his early teenage years. Cutting his teeth on old, pirated versions of fl studios 4, 8, and 10, his earliest tracks were mostly avant-garde, experimental house music.

At 14, he also found his instrument, the guitar, the tool he had always meant to possess. With this in hand, the outcome was set in stone: music would ALWAYS be a part of this flower’s roots.

In 2021, flowers started the Prairie Flowers studio, a project to help all the other forgotten, overlooked flowers find their colors.

MiG-29 is a way for flowers to keep realizing the dream. Shoegaze and hip-hop. Angst and lust. Blood, piss, and spit. Red, yellow, pink. Red, yellow, pink! These are the things that make MiG-29 what it is. A way to exist in a dream that sucks the life from your soul but leaves enough to crave the experience over and over. A nightmare you can’t help but crave. A horror you will only ever want to realize again and again.

With each and every song comes a new chance to satiate that craving inside. MiG-29 will make you rethink how music is made while remaining palatable enough to be enjoyed by the everyday listener. It’s like faces of death on acid.
