Greetings! My name is Tim Oestmann, from Adelaide, Australia.

Music is such a gift. It is a community event. Many of us are influenced by others’ gifts of a song or a tune, and hopefully, we can provide a tune in return. None of us makes music in a vacuum.

My background is as a guitarist and bass player in a number of local bands. I was fortunate enough to perform for a few years in front of live audiences, which was often a privilege. I also learned a lot from playing to an audience that gave instant feedback if you were hot, or not, they would let you know. I also did some roadie work for other performers, and so heard a lot of live music.

Hello, my name is Pavel Maschenko. I live in Samara, an industrial city in the south-east of the European part of Russia, located on the eastern bank of the Volga River. With a little more than 1 million inhabitants, it is the sixth biggest city in Russia.

Faeria is the music to which I dedicate as much of myself as I can. Through the creative process, I strive to make music that will help in your everyday deeds or thoughts about anything.

If you want to sing out, sing out! How to cover songs successfully by Sorcha ChisholmThe photo above is me outside the Koninklijk Theatre where Tori Amos played Amsterdam in September 2017. I was lucky enough to get last minute tickets the very day before I was scheduled to fly home after my European tour. Needless to say, it was all very auspicious and I recently started to think about how many songs I can play of hers, and how by playing them they’ve become a part of me. She also has a special approach to doing covers. I have also interpreted many songs by other artists in the meantime and I’m also keen to try my hand at a few that intimidate me! Here is some background and a few tips for nailing that cover song.
