If you are looking for music to add to your video or presentation, Music for Monetize does a good pre-selection for you.

Our Artist of the Week in September, Chicago’s Schaf, has been very productive recently. He produced three albums in the fourth quarter of 2017, the third and newest has been released only yesterday on New Year’s Eve.

One of our favorite tracks of the year is La Chienne by Montreal’s La Fièvre, our Artist of the Week #9 in July.

A subgenre of indie rock, shoegaze has its origin in the late 80’s and early 90’s in the United Kingdom, and is now in its second or already third wave and very popular these days. One of these bands is Czech Republic’s DIV I DED, one of our Artists of the Week in June.

Out of Pitchfork’s 20 Best Rock Albums we created a Soundposter for you with sample streamings of Spotify, so you’ve got everything in one place! Enjoy the list with albums by National, Jay Som, Broken Social Scene, Waxahatchee, and many more.

Our 27th Artist of the Week is New York’s Huey Daze. His very personal style, which he doesn’t like to be categorized, invites you to chill and dream. His November album Serenade is already his third release in 2017. A productive dude indeed!

On our Instagram account, we often present classic and modern album cover art, which we find interesting and important. For those who missed it, or prefer a collection in one place, we created a Soundposter with the first 25 covers of this spring/summer. Please enjoy: Continue reading
