Goetia began in Ankara, Turkey, in 2025, but our musical connection started before that.
We had previously made music together in a post-punk project called Macabre. Over time, however, we found ourselves wanting to move toward something darker, more electronic, and more immersive. We were increasingly drawn to the repetition and physicality of EBM, the cold atmosphere of darkwave, and the harsher textures of industrial music.
Goetia grew out of that desire.

We’ve returned after almost three years. With an album that drives us back to the origins, to that EP (“The first moon”) from where everything had started. Italian in its provenance but with an original British twist, “The first Moon” earned us the reputation of champions of a “new New Wave”.
