Bringing back what music is all about, true raw energy and emotion. Armed with a repertoire of songs that deal with topics like: self worth, anarchy and sanity, Snur is pushing the envelope and putting their own twist on the raw grungy sound of rock n’ roll!

A 3 piece progressive grunge band from the small town of Lake Country, BC, (population 15,000) Snur was started in early 2016 by guitarist Jalen Blair, and drummer Teagan Ramage, who would go on to write two demo’s and tour across BC and Alberta before the end of 2017, playing shows with more recognized bands like: “Voltang” “Dusty Tucker” and “The Hazeytones”.

Their musicianship and song writing ability owes a lot to them being influenced by such a large array of artists, some including: Rush, Led Zeppelin, Mastodon, Tool, Scratch Acid, Between The Buried And Me, Alexisonfire, Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, Deftones, Everytime I Die, Opeth, The Mars Volta, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Nirvana.

At the moment, Snur’s two self-titled demos are available in extremely limited quantities on cassette in record stores across BC and Alberta, or via Bandcamp, but they are set to release their debut studio album “Isolationism” recorded with bassist Nathan Swift, in the Fall of 2019!
