The album “I just wanted a taste of you” by “Sly King” is something of its own. It has a raw sound that canvases many emotions. The album has a jazzy feel mixed in with indie rock, it’s something new and refreshing for indie and alternative rock fans.
When writing this album I was listening to a lot of jazz and indie artists; such as King Krule, Rex Orange County, and Steve Lacy. I try to write something that has it own unique spin onto this genre of music. Also when writing this album I was thinking about life and how everything is getting so real for me, I try to make a record that shows all that. Each song was carefully written with deep meaning. I hope people can relate to me and enjoy what I have made.
