I saw my first murder when I was only five years old. Such is life growing up in Camden, New Jersey. Although it was a very dangerous city to grow up in, It wasn’t all bad. Yes, it was tough times; but it helped define me. It helped prepare me for two tours in Iraq. But more importantly, it helped define my music. Yet, it would only take one basketball game to introduce my music to the world.

Miguel Caraballo (born March 28, 1993), better known by his stage name ABKTRAUMA, is an American rapper, producer, and songwriter from Camden, New Jersey. Born to a Black mother and a Puerto Rican father in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Caraballo started his entertainment career at the early age of four as a child model. By the age of sixteen, he was managing two DJ’s who were almost twice his age. After a semester at Camden County College, Caraballo decided to join the United States Army where he served four years with the 3rd Infantry Division based out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. He was deployed to Iraq twice, receiving numerous medals and accomadations. After a brief hiatus, Caraballo returned to the music business and decided to focus on his solo career. Caraballo released his debut street single, “FOMF” in 2020 which was followed by his next single, “Tell Me The Truth”, featuring Eskie Jones.
