English Language Learners Definition defines passion as a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something. Power, on the other hand, is defined as the ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way.
Paramount Passion
Passion, the driving wheel of success is all we need to climb to the top of the ladder of any life endeavor. It’s undeterred, unrelenting and resolute. It pushes you to the limit and beyond, fuels your resolve, and drives your urge for success.
It’s needless here to affirm how paramount passion is in bringing the needed result in all our pursuit; its importance cannot be overemphasized. Its power is so overwhelming, without which none of our dreams will be achieved.
Talent Is Not Enough
Being a music artist, like in any other profession, needs a great deal of passion and it’s accompanied drives to attain the desired height. Having the talent is one thing, but having a love for it is another, and it can only take one with the passion to reach the pinnacle of the profession than one with just talent.
I have seen some music acts with less talent make it and those with enormous talent struggling. I am one of those; if not for my passion for music, I wouldn’t be where I am today in my music career. As I stated in my previous article, “Music Calms My Nerves,” I was presented with a lot of challenges that if it were not for the passion, they would have weighed me down. Thanks to my love for what I do, I still won’t give up until I am finally where I want to be.
Fulfillment
If you love singing, you will always sing, no matter what. If you love dancing, you will always dance even when it wasn’t paying to do so. In so many ways, our passion for a particular thing has paved the way for us, and it will always do.
Passion does not only help you achieve success it gives you a sense of fulfillment in your endeavor. So many though have attained financial freedom in their chosen career are still short of that self-fulfillment and it is all because they lack love for what they do. They are in it to fulfill their financial needs. However, this kind of success does not stand the test of time.
Passion is so important when it comes to achieving your dreams. Do you desire to be successful in your chosen career? Then you have to develop a love for that which you embark on for it is only with that you can record the success and achieve the fulfillment you need.
