This week’s featured Artist (#13) is the Boston based band Winona and the Riders. The four friends bring a new, fresh sound made up of hip hop, electronic, funky, indie origins, straight from the speakers to your ears! They draw their influences from all over the music world with the goal of creating music that transcends tastes and generations, creating happy ears and even happier feet.

The group is made up of (from left to right) Matt Zingg, guitarist and bassist, Matt Livingston, guitarist, Matt “Maeko” Macomber, lead vocalist and rapper, and Coleman O’Brien, on the keys. They just recently dropped their first LP, Slap Happy.
