We are Loving Love, an art project that was started in Kyoto in 2018 by Kotoku Tsurutani and me, Hifumi Sasaki, the lead songwriter, and guitarist. We have grown to five members now, and we have released our 1st EP, “A Momentary Cocoon Of Memory.” Please check it out!
My name is Charley Young. I’m an indie synthpop artist based in NYC. I was born in San Diego, California, and grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I’ve always loved music and always knew I wanted to be a singer, but it took me a while to become confident enough to pursue my dreams. About five years ago, I decided it was time to stop being scared and go for it – Whether or not the timing was good, whether or not I was “ready.”
“Life goes on” has come out with quite a psychedelic buzz – it has had a big CD release party in the Hangar49 in Berlin on May 24th. For me, “just a girl with guitar from Eastern Europe,” the album turned out to be a momentum of all the things unsaid, a story of moving abroad, a cry-your-heart-out type of collection for self-therapy.
It was fun for me doing an interview again after all these years and discussing Anorkia, which is a project that’s very deeply ingrained in my heart. Dirk and I will do our best to begin a new chapter in Anorkia’s life at a future time. Anyone who reads these words, please know that you are loved, and I hope you create a beautiful day.
Keno Nifty is a band made by the artist and part-time musician Ricky Alexander (also known as Chazz Forte online). It’s about a group of fictional musicians (left to right: Marlene, Penny, Apollo, and Niomi) who travel around, get into fights and use music as a coping mechanism.
