Melissa Delecia, this week’s island girl with a big dream, is presently busy working on her fresh and brand new debut album. But to keep us on track, she is continuing to release new songs on a regular basis.
Sorry men, the music year 2018 belongs to the women. At least when you look at this year’s line-up of Eurosonic Noorderslag. Probably the first festival of the year, the trendsetting happening in Groningen, Netherlands, offers a stage for more than 100 emerging bands from all over Europe. And surprisingly many artists were women.
Melissa Roslyn Delecia is a Singer, Songwriter, Entertainer who was born on October 30th, 1993. She is a multi-genre artist from the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Most of all, Melissa blends her own unique styles and melodies together to form a new genre she calls Island-Pop.
Baba Brinkman just released a new video. In his unique manner, he produced a rap song about Donald Trump’s climate change legacy.

There is a simple explanation, how the band’s front-singer and lyricist Mira Lu Kovacs came up with it: Poetry.
The super-group 5K HD from Vienna travel from Jazz to Pop to Electronica with ease, They remind us very much of Portishead, while they are still creating their very own sound. We feel so honored to welcome our first Austrian musicians as our Artists of the Week #31.
